Do I need an account?
Not always. Guest shortening works when the administrator has enabled it. An account is recommended when you want a dashboard containing your links.
Can I choose my own short code?
Yes. Select the custom option and enter an available alias containing letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores.
Does a short link hide a dangerous website?
A short link changes how an address is shared; it does not make the destination safer. Visitors should still use normal caution, and abusive links may be disabled.
Can a link expire?
Yes. You can select an expiration option. After that time, the redirect stops working.
How does password protection work?
The password is stored as a secure hash. A visitor must enter the correct password before being redirected.
Why might a link be removed?
Links may be disabled for malware, phishing, fraud, copyright abuse, harassment, unlawful content, or other violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.
