Why this tool exists
Long URLs are useful behind the scenes, but they are awkward in emails, social posts, printed material, messages, and campaign reports. We wanted a practical tool that turns those addresses into short, readable links while still giving the person who created the link sensible controls.
The service combines quick link creation with optional custom aliases, expiration dates, password protection, QR codes, and a private dashboard for registered members. Guests can create links when the site owner allows it, while members can return later to review and manage their work.
How we approach privacy and reliability
We collect only the information needed to operate the service, protect it from abuse, and provide the analytics enabled by the site administrator. Click records are designed to be privacy-conscious, and IP addresses are stored as one-way hashes rather than plain text. We do not promise that a short link will live forever; links can expire, be disabled, or be removed when they violate the acceptable-use rules.
