Information you provide
When you create an account, WordPress stores your name, email address, username, password hash, and account metadata. When you create a short link, the service stores the destination, short code, optional expiration date, optional password hash, status, timestamps, and the account ID when you are signed in.
Click information
If analytics are enabled, the service may record the time of a click, referral address, device category, browser, operating system, and approximate location information when available. The visitor IP address is converted into a one-way keyed hash rather than stored as plain text. Analytics are used to operate the dashboard, understand performance, prevent abuse, and investigate security concerns.
Cookies
WordPress uses authentication cookies to keep registered members signed in. The interface may use local storage to remember the selected light or dark theme. Additional cookies may be introduced by analytics, advertising, security, or caching services configured by the website owner; those services should be listed here before launch.
Retention and sharing
Account and link records are retained while they are needed to provide the service, meet legal duties, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. Information is not sold. It may be shared with hosting, email, security, analytics, or legal service providers only where required to operate the website or comply with law.
